This is especially critical because native Zoom Rooms-enabled devices only allow a single active API connection per device, which is typically reserved for the touch panel. Without Utelogy’s cloud-based approach, external platforms may be unable to access key device data without disrupting native Zoom functionality.

With this integration, IT teams gain full visibility into room health, device status, and performance metrics across the Zoom Rooms environment. The Utelogy Platform supports a broad range of Zoom Rooms-enabled hardware, including dedicated PCs running the Zoom platform, all-in-one systems like Poly and Logitech, control systems, and standalone touch panels. It leverages real-time updates, including websockets for live call status, and intelligent polling to report room status, connection health, call activity, and issues directly into U-Manage, enabling proactive support and automated alerting.

The Zoom Cloud driver also supports essential control functions such as muting microphones, joining or leaving meetings, and restarting the Zoom application. Combined with Utelogy’s Tech Tool in the cloud, these actions can be executed remotely, reducing the need for on-site intervention and allowing IT teams to address problems instantly.
